Winter Fun

Bennett went skiing for the first time several Sundays ago.

He had a blast!

And his dad was a great teacher!

Actually, they both had a blast! The girls and I spent quality time together in the lodge clipping coupons and watching movies on the portable dvd player. Next time Annabelle is going to give it a try.

And these four girls had a fun Friday! Carol and I took them sledding at the high school hill. They all had fun!

We came back to Mark and Carol's for rides behind the 4 wheeler

and to see the first lamb of the season. And of course a snack and hot chocolate were needed after such a busy afternoon.

Jenny stayed back and watched the baby girls so I could participate is such a fun afternoon with 4 adorable little girls!

5 Months

Our little baby girl is 5 months today! I can hardly believe it!! Here are 5 things about you right now Eliza that we so love...
1. You suck your hands and toes
2. You smile easily.
3. You love to be talked to by anyone and will often "talk" back.
4. You are a good napper.
5. You make adorably funny faces.

And if the above 5 things weren't true about you and were actually the opposite, we'd love you just as much!
We love you Eliza because you're you! And all the little things about you, make you special and unique! Happy 5 month birthday Sweet Thing!

And yes, that is an eagle picture hanging on our bedroom wall. We have coloring pages hanging all over our house :)!

Sheep

After playgroup today we went out to the farm to watch the sheep being sheared. It's really very interesting to watch!!

This sheep couldn't get away fast enough!

These guys really know what they're doing! It's looks like a lot of work and there are a LOT of sheep to shear!

One More Deal Post

I went to Meijers this morning. I spent 23.01 and saved 32.74 by matching sales with coupons. I got both grocery items and hygiene items. Here is one deal I'm happy about... I got each item in the above picture for 93 cents a piece.

In addition, I was able to get 3 tubes of 6.4 ounce Crest toothpaste for 67 cents a piece.

As far as grocery deals, Meijer had a dollar sale. For 10 items in the dollar sale I had a matching coupon (green giant veggies, grands buttermilk biscuits, and cake mix). The 11th item was free so I got a free package of english muffins!
