Christmas Day

Marshmallow Pops for Santa

MYWA...MY Little Wrestler

Bennett has started MYWA wresling. His dad is the coach. The practice is led by Darrin but the tournaments are all parent centered. You can pick and choose which tournaments to attend. Bennett went to his first tournament in White Pigeon. He was excited for it and ended up placing 2nd which earned him a medal. He was thrilled. But to say he didn't like losing to the first place boy would be putting it mildly. Hard to watch your little guy get so upset, that's for sure, but we stress that losing is a part of life. Just a hard lesson to learn when you're 5. (Bennett is in the black and yellow by the way.)

Waiting to take the mat.

Having fun at practice with Sister.

Christmas in Colon

Every year Colon has a Christmas celebration. It includes a parade, a Santa visit at the library, a book fair, cookie walk, drawings and food at local businesses, and just a variety of fun little things. It was held on a Friday night this year as opposed to Saturday and it was a much larger turn out. We had so much fun!

My Ann

Saturday night Annabelle and I had a date night. We went to our church Christmas cantata. We both enjoy music so I thought it would be fun for us. Even more fun was the wonderful baked goods we got to enjoy when the program was over.

Don't you just love this girls sense of style?!? We made peanut butter/bird seed feeders this past week at preschool.

A Little on Eliza

She loves to kick her legs up.

She tried her first bowl of cereal on December 1st. It didn't fill her belly enough to sleep through the night so we haven't done it since, but she did well!

Liza's already loving her dogs.

Eliza has always been a talker. Here she is just a week shy of her 4 month birthday having a conversation with me. I love that little voice.

The Big 5

On November 30, Big Man Bennett turned 5! Hard to believe!! It's been the best 5 years of my life, that's for sure. We sure do love you Bennett! Here are a few shots of our 5 year old on his birthday.
