So Annabelle

Annabelle is helping me put laundry away. After hanging up a shirt I recently got from my mom she said, "I love this shirt. When I'm a mom can I have it?" I said, "Sure, but you might want to buy all new clothes when you're a mom." She said, I want all your clothes. BUT not your sweatshirts!"

Student of the Week...

that's our Bennett! He came home with this certificate. He didn't tell us what he needed to do to earn it, but our inside sources :) tell us it is given to students who demonstrate good character and that it is voted on by teachers. 10 students at the elementary school were chosen this week. Here's a link to see it posted on the school's website. We are so proud of him!

SISTERS take 2

Take a look at Annabelle's expression above, and Eliza's below. Oh yes. They are sisters!

SISTERS

Such a wonderful and yet complex relationship :). They make each other smile one minute and scowl the next. Each one was created to be the others' sister....what a GIFT!

A Little About Each of Them

ELIZA

Eliza had her one month check-up today. Here are her stats:

She weighs 8 pounds 11.5 ounces
Her length is 21 and 3/4 inches
Her head is 15 inches

She's definitely grown in the last month. I did have to bump her to a size one diaper so I knew she was growing. I just wish she would slow down. This past month has gone too fast!! In addition, because she loves being on her belly so much, she is ahead in the area of her strength in that position. The pediatrician warned me that this may also mean she'll want to roll over sooner so we need to watch for that. She is getting too big, too fast that's for sure!

ANNABELLE

Annabelle started dance on Tuesday. Her face absolutely lights up when she's in class and she asks all week if she's going to dance today. I will have pictures of her in dance class soon but a certain baby wanted to eat the whole time during her first class.

And here is Annabelle with her favorite meal. A peanut butter (no jelly) sandwich (or toast is good too) and black olives :).

BENNETT

Bennett started pre-k on Tuesday. He gets on the bus about 7:25 and gets dropped off at 3:30. The first three mornings were rough trying to get him up but today he did great! We never get too much info about his day but he gets off the bus smiling so I think it's going well. We are able to hear a little about Bennett's day from one of Darrin's students who helps in Bennett's class in the mornings, so that's a treat.
