The 4th of July, 2012

The 4th of July is my favorite holiday!   It's one day packed with fun, outdoor activities and the weather is usually wonderful.  This year was HOT HOT HOT!  And FUN FUN FUN!  The girls and I rode a float in support of David Tomlinson for judge.  Darrin and Bennett walked the parade for the same cause with the miniature horse Turner.  After the parade we enjoyed Midway activities.  Darrin was in the dunk tank again this year.  You will see a picture of Bennett trying to get him in the water.  After the Midway, we rested at home a bit then headed to the lake to wait for the fireworks.  We had a fun crew to watch with this year.  And the fireworks were wonderful!  It's a very long show for a small town.  I heard a few say, "the best we've seen."  LOTS of fun!

 Our kids think Jellystone Park in Fremont, IN is a little slice of heaven.  They look so forward to the time we spend there.  This is our third summer camping there. The weather was perfect and we packed our days full of fun!  We look forward to next summer already!
