Yogi 2012

Our kids think Jellystone Park in Fremont, IN is a little slice of heaven.  They look so forward to the time we spend there.  This is our third summer camping there. The weather was perfect and we packed our days full of fun!  We look forward to next summer already!

Horse Camp 2012

The big kids went to horse camp this week!  I called a very sweet high school student we know and asked if she'd be willing to teach my kids a little about horses and to help them gain confidence when around them.  I paid her to have them 1 hour a day on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and 2 hours on Wednesday.  We are amazed at what they learned in such a short amount of time.  Annabelle who used to hate feeding horses by hand now does it without a problem.  She also rides around the arena without being led and can get off the horse on her own.  She is so proud of herself for what she's accomplished!  Bennett can canter and learned various riding techniques.  The boy genuinely loved it and wants to do it again.  They also learned the basics of caring for a horse.
The above picture is of the kids' ride home on Wednesday!  Isn't that fun?!?

This baby shakes in fear when she's too close to a horse.  From a distance she thinks they are very nice.  She will benefit from Horse Camp some day :).

Sweet Summertime!

Family movie night.  My girls are so cheesy!
Even Palmer enjoyed the Karate Kid

Learning about the phases of the moon using Oreos.  We love the summer program the library offers.
 Drinking moon juice.
 POPSICLES!
Girl or boy?  This photo was taken before heading to our ultra sound.  I am 17 weeks in this photo.
The Museum of Science and Natural History in Ann Arbor

My husband the science teacher wanted his picture taken with this to show his students.
Evening walks at the farm are always so nice.  Bennett and Eliza are looking for Killdeer in the field.

Sweet Ann wanted a picture of her and her doll in their matching nightgowns.
Bennett chipped his tooth one night in early June.  An evening trip to our awesome dentist was needed.  He came home with a glued tooth and glove man.

And this inflatable slide was set up in our neighbors yard.  The kids were in their glory!

Learning and Growing!

Everything's always more fun with friends!
In May, Annabelle took a swimming class to freshen up some of her skills before summer.

At the last minute Bennett decided he wanted to play baseball.  He's glad he did.  Annabelle is ready to give it a try next year.  The games are a blast to watch!  Proud of you Bud!
